Tourist Attractions:

Historic Downtown Yuma:
Stroll through landscaped walkways under huge trees and enjoy specialty shops and unique dining establishments. This was the marriage site of such old time movie stars as Clark Gable and Carol Lombard. Numerous street fairs, events and music planned during the winter season. Experience the energy as the heart of Yuma is revitalized. Historic Downtown Yuma - where the number one priority is individualized attention and pleasurable shopping. 1st street and Main---shops and restaurants spread over several adjourning blocks.

Yuma Crossing Historic State Park/National Historical Landmark:
201 North 4th Avenue (928) 329-0471
One of the first steps on the long road to redevelopment of the historic Yuma river front area that in early days was the focal point of Yuma’s development. The site was used as an Army depot from 1864 until 1883. The park includes a steam locomotive, the Quartermaster Depot, Fort Yuma and other historic buildings. Admission.

Yuma Territorial Prison State Park:
Giss Parkway & Prison Hill Road. (928) 783-4771
Between 1876 and 1909, this penitentiary housed many of Arizona’s most dangerous criminals. Famed in literature, movies and television, the remains of the prison are now an Arizona State Park. The Yuma Wildwest Bunch perform western skits most Sundays, October through April. Call for times, dates and admission fee to the shows. The Prison is open 8 1.m. to 5 p.m., every day except Christmas. Admission. Guided tours, call for hours.
